How the Partnership Began

When Reachoutly’s founder Amin completed a nonprofit database project for a local client, he didn’t stop there. He recognized the massive Google Ad Grant opportunity and proactively researched the entire ecosystem.

StraightForwardInteractive’s biggest problem was that they had exhausted their warm network within the nonprofit sector and faced significant scale limitations.

Database Invisibility

From Reachoutly’s perspective, this project presented unique technical and logistical hurdles. The biggest challenge was that most nonprofits aren’t listed in standard B2B databases, making data enrichment extremely difficult. They required extensive website scraping and manual enrichment.

We had to reach thousands of nonprofits globally. Our manual prospecting process was time-intensive, requiring research across scattered databases like CharityNavigator and Guidestar. We needed precise 501c3 eligibility verification to ensure we were targeting the right organizations for Google Ad Grants.

We built massive infrastructure to reach nonprofits completely invisible in traditional B2B databases. We manually enriched data from CharityNavigator and Guidestar to help organizations unlock $10,000 monthly in free Google advertising.

Nonprofit Research and Data Acquisition

We targeted 501c3 Nonprofit organizations that are eligible for Google Ad Grants (GAG). For example, Animal Welfare, Museums, Libraries, Islamic charity, Climate change, Healthcare Nonprofits, etc.

These aren’t listed in standard B2B databases like Apollo or ZoomInfo. We developed creative methods. We researched eligible 501c3s via CharityNavigator and Guidestar and compiled a list of nonprofit organizations. 

We enriched each organization with decision-makers via Apollo, and systematically scraped websites and manually enriched missing contact data for Executive Directors, Presidents, VPs, and Development Directors. 

We validated everything using email Validation tool Reoon to ensure under 2% bounce rate. This manual approach was necessary because nonprofit decision-makers are virtually invisible to traditional lead generation tools.

Infrastructure Development for Global Scale

With Amin’s vision to reach every nonprofit worldwide, we faced an unprecedented challenge: how to systematically contact hundreds of thousands of organizations globally. 

Traditional cold email setups couldn’t handle this volume, so we built a comprehensive system using 279 Google Workspace accounts and configured 93 .com domains. Connected to Pipl.io for campaign management, this infrastructure established 3,000 daily email capacity. 

It was essential for reaching nonprofits across every industry and geographic region before the Google Ad Grant opportunity window closed.
